The New York Stock Exchange-listed dry bulk shipowner announced on Tuesday it was opening an office in Singapore and that it would be headed Ivo Kempenaer as vice president and commercial director, head of major bulks. Kempenaer was previously a senior broker on the capesize desk at SSY in the Lion City.

Genco has a fleet of 13 capesize, six panamax , four ultramax, 21 supramax, one handymax and 15 handysize dry bulk vessels.
