Alam Maritim secures $11.2m charter deal for two vessels

Alam Maritim secures $11.2m charter deal for two vessels
Alam Maritim Resources has been awarded two contracts worth total of MYR37m ($11.2m) from an established oil and gas company for the provision of one unit anchor handling tug vessel and one unit straight supply vessel, the Malaysian offshore services players said in a statement.

The contract will be for 12 months with an option to extend for another six months.

The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Alam Maritim for the financial year ending December 2013 up to 2015.
