The service contract is valued at $60.06m and will be performed by Hilong Marine Engineering’s self-owned plants and equipment, including Hilong 106, an offshore pipe-laying vessel. The work is scheduled to be completed by 20 August this year.
Hong Kong-listed Hilong Holdings, which owns Hilong Marine Engineering, said this is the second contract awarded by CNOOC China.
“The board considers that the contract has further injected new impetus to the offshore engineering services segment of the group and is also in line with the development prospects of the group,” Hilong Holdings said.
