Cosco Corp clinches $200m contract

Cosco Corp clinches $200m contract
Singapore: Cosco Corporation (Singapore) clinched a contract valued over $200m to build a semi-submersible accommodation vessel for Mexico-based Cotemar.

Cosco Shipyard will build the harsh environment semi-submersible accommodation vessel and deliver it in 30 months time.

The vessel will be equipped with DP3 system and is designed to operate in the Santos Basin, Gulf of Mexico and in the North Sea.

Cosco Corp said the contract is not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the company for the year ending 31 December 2012.
