Cosco yard bags $170m jack-up rig order
Singapore: Cosco Corporation (Singapore)'s shipyard has won a $170m contract from Talland Navigation to build one jack-up drilling rig.

Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard will deliver the rig in the first quarter of 2015.

The rig, to be built to ABS classification, will feature drilling depth of up to 30,000 feet and be capable of operating in 350 feet water. The unit will be equipped for efficient operation and layout, optimization of deck space, ease of material handling, and safety of personnel on board, according to Cosco Corp.
