Daya seals second OSCV contract with Technip

Daya seals second OSCV contract with Technip
Malaysia-based Daya Materials has sealed a second contract worth between MYR100m ($30.5m) and MYR176m to provide an offshore subsea construction vessel (OSCV) and offshore services to Norwegian firm Technip Norge AS for work in the North Sea and North Atlantic.

In a Bursa Malaysia announcement Daya said its second OSCV Siem Daya 2, would be chartered for a period of 100 to 175 days per year for three years, commencing in 2014 with options to extend until 2020.

Daya had in August sealed a similar deal with Technip for its first OSCV Siem Daya 1.
