Fire at S'pore yard leaves four injured, three missing
Singapore: Four people were injured, and three are missing after a fire at Tanoto Shipyard in Singapore.

Fire broke out at the yard on Tuesday evening engulfing four vessels one of which sank, the fire was extinguished at 04-30hrs this morning according to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

“SCDF conveyed one male casualty from the incident site to Singapore General Hospital. The other three casualties who were in a passing vessel in the vicinity were ferried by a Police Coast Guard craft to the PCG Gul base and thereafter conveyed by SCDF ambulances to National University Hospital,” the SCDF said in an update on its Facebook page. One of the casualties was reported to be seriously injured with 38% burns.

Three were reported missing The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is currently co-ordinating a search and rescue operation.
