The ships include a DP pipe laying and heavy lift construction vessel built for Subsea 7, a fall pipe rock dumping vessel for a subsidiary of Royal Boskalis Westminster, and another fall pipe rock dumping vessel for Tideway.
The supply package for two of the three ships includes advanced DP, diesel electric propulsion, vessel management, automation, navigation and communication, according to Imtech Marine.
The design and engineering was done in Rotterdam, production in Shanghai and installation and commissioning in Singapore.
“Imtech Marine has the in-house expertise to integrate technical systems on board and to anticipate the complex balance of engines, DP-system and thrusters,” said Eric van den Adel, managing director of Imtech Marine.
