Indon's SKKMigas suspends all tenders due to graft scandal
More controversy has erupted as the graft scandal which hit Indonesia’s energy regulator SKKMigas last week has led to the suspension of all oil, condensate and natural gas sell tenders as it reviews internal procedures, local media reported.

The regulatory body's chairman Rudi Rubiandini was caught taking an alleged bribe from an oil trader and the scandal has since expanded to three other top officials as well.

SKKMigas suspended a tender to sell around 400,000 barrels of condensate from Total’s Senipah complex that was due to close on Monday, local reports cited a source as saying. It is unknown when tenders will resume.

The suspension is the first sign that the case is starting to impact daily operations of Indonesia’s oil and gas industry.
