Jasper Investments announced on 3 November it was selling converted accommodation semi-submersible vessel at Yiulian Shipyard for $75.6m to Alyar Offshore after the Singapore-listed company failed to take delivery due to insufficient funds.
However, since the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) the buyer has neither paid the deposit or inspected the vessel. The failure to pay a deposit had rendered the MOA null and void and the sale is not proceeding Jasper Investments said.
