K Line orders VLGC on back of time charter to Gyxis

The 82,200 cu m vessel is set be delivered by KHI in November 2018 and will bring K Line’s VLGC fleet to six.

It will be the second VLGC that K Line has time chartered to Gyxis. The length of the charter was not revealed.

Gyxis was founded in April this year and integrates import and wholesale LPG operations of four companies comprised of Cosmo Oil, Showa Shell Sekiyu, Sumitomo Corporation, and TonenGeneral Sekiyu.
