KS Energy secures extension on rig contract

KS Energy secures extension on rig contract
Singapore: KS Energy has secured an extension of its existing bareboat charter contract worth some €3m ($3.7m) for a jack-up offshore accommodation rig for another six months.

The contract was won by KS Energy's subsidiary Atlantic Rotterdam Limited, which operates the rig named Atlantic Rotterdam. The rig is working in the North Sea.

“The contract extension is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings per share and net tangible assets per share of the company for the financial year ending 31 December 2012,” Singapore-listed KS Energy said.
