LR opens 14th office in China

Zhoushan: Vice Mayor Wang Zhongzhi of the People's Government of Zhoushan City officially opened Lloyd's Register's latest office at a dinner held for many from the local shipbuilding and repair market at a hotel in Zhoushan earlier this week.  LR will initially employ more than 20 with the number rising to 30 in the coming weeks.

Nick Brown, Country and Marine manager, PR China heralded the occasion as an important step for LR in its continued investment in the China market, bringing some of its most experienced people to head up the office.  [27/05/09]
