The accommodation and work barge Miclyn Constructor 1 and the anchor handler MEO Sovereign II clinched the two-year contracts that started in February and March this year respectively.
Since the start of this year, Miclyn has signed seven new OSV contracts worth $56m.
“Whilst we have experienced some earnings softness in financial year 2013, largely due to a high level of re-contracting activity, asset redeployment and softer than anticipated market conditions, we have been able to (...) secure a number of long term OSV contracts,” said Diederik de Boer, ceo of Miclyn.
In line with its fleet renewal strategy, Miclyn has also entered into agreements to sell two aged crew/utility vessels for a modest disposal gain.
