New ceo for Swiber

Singapore: Singapore offshore and marine company Swiber has appointed Francis Wong as ceo and president taking over from founder Raymond Goh. Wong, who has been with Swiber since 2005, will ceo as play a key role in chartering Swiber's corporate and strategic directions. Goh will remain at the helm of Swiber as executive chairman. "With Swiber's rapid expansion on the corporate and operations level, the new appointment is part of Swiber's growth strategy to strengthen its management team to meet new business opportunities and future challenges," the company said.
