Beijing: Beihai City recently formally signed an investment agreement with Guangdong Province's Dongguan Zhengtian Industrial Investment Co. Ltd, according to news released by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Beihai Municipal Government on July 12th. A shipbuilding and repair plant will be formally established in Beihai City. It will be the first of its kind with a shipbuilding capacity exceeding 10,000t in Guangxi's Beibu Bay Area. The project is funded by Zhengtian Industrial and Hong Kong Jiacheng International Investment Group, involving a total investment of RMB350m. The first phase of the project will involve an investment of RMB200m. [13/07/07]
