NYK partners RCL and ends service with Vinalines
Tokyo: Japan's Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) will launch a new joint service with Thailand's Regional Container Lines (RCL) and ditch a current joint service with Vietnam's Vinalines Container Shipping Company.

NYK and RCL will put into service the Thailand-Vietnam-Canton (TVC) service from 13 May using three 1,000 teu vessels, with NYK contribute one and RCL deploying two.

The 21-day port rotation will be Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Haiphong, Shekou, Hong Kong, Haiphong, Hong Kong, Shekou and back to Bangkok.

Also on 13 May, NYK will terminate the Thailand-Vietnam-Singapore (TVS) service that it is running with Vinalines Container Shipping Company.
