The Bangkok-headquartered company is launching the RCL China Australia service (RCA) by taking slots on a Cosco service that calls Ningbo - Shanghai - Xiamen - Shekou - Hong Kong - Sydney - Melbourne – Brisbane. The first sailing will be on the Cosco Xiamen on 9 June from Ningbo.
“RCA provides some of the best industry transit times between China ports and Australia and vice versa,” said Sumate Tanthuwanit, president of RCL. Our customers will also benefit from having a second cut on RCA ex Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou - Hong Kong to Australia including direct coverage ex Xiamen as well through the RCA”.
