The Dalian yard in China will deliver the ships in the first half of 2015.
The contract comes with an option to construct four similar type vessels.
An official from STX Dalian Shipbuilding said the yard is expected to win more orders this year due to its strong competitive edge despite the sluggish global shipbuilding market.
