STX OSV wins contracts for two offshore vessels

STX OSV wins contracts for two offshore vessels
Singapore: STX OSV won new contracts to design and construct two offshore subsea construction vessels for Norway-based Siem Offshore.

The vessels are scheduled to be delivered from STX OSV Brattvaag in Norway in the third quarter and fourth quarter of 2013. The hulls of the vessels will be delivered from STX OSV Tulcea in Romania. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

STX OSV already has two platform supply vessels under construction in Brazil for the same customer.

Last week, STX OSV also won a contract to design and construct one anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel for investment company Iceman.
