The Singapore-listed firm has sold its 300 shares in PJW 3000 LLC, which owns a construction barge, to undisclosed party for $52m.
Swiber said it would enter into a charter deal for the vessel with the purchaser. “The transaction is part of the group strategy to restructure certain existing vessels under various leasing arrangement,” the company said. Swiber will book at $16.6m gain on the sale.
