The charter contract for the offshore unit is worth up to $115m over a seven-year period to support an oil company in Asia-Pacific.
The contract follows the establishment of a joint venture between Swissco and Union Offshore, whereby both parties signed an agreement to acquire and own an offshore service unit to fulfill the charter requirements.
The offshore service unit is expected to be deployed in the first quarter of 2015 after its refurbishment and upgrading.
Swissco has also bagged a separate 12-month charter contract for a multipurpose vessel in the Middle East. The value of the contract is approximately $3.87m.
