The company's shipbuilding segment saw a 36% rise in revenue to MYR135.13m from MYR99.72 in 2012 while revenue for the repair and service division rose by more than half to MYR2.29m.
The revenue mix also shifted, reflecting new sources of business. Customers from Singapore, UAE snd Papua New Guinea became the top revenue contributors providing MYRMYR57.7m, MYR38.4m and MYR14.3m respectively. Revenue from customers in the home market of Malaysia fell from MYR19.9m in 2012 to MYR17.9m in the current year.
