Vard bags $46.4m Island Offshore OSV order

Vard bags $46.4m Island Offshore OSV order
Vard has secured an order to build an offshore support vessel (OSV) for Island offshore worth NOK300m ($46.4m).

The hull will be delivered from Vard's Romanian yard Braila, with the vessel slated for delivery from Vard Brevik in Norway in the first quarter 2016.

The latest signing brings Island Offshore's orderbook at Vard to six ships. Vard and Island offshore's historic relationship has seen the group deliver more than 30 vessels to the offshore vessel owner and operator.
