Hanoi: The first two bulkers among 27 vessels of 53,000 tons each were handed over by the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin) to the UK's Graig Investment Limited earlier this week, representing another major advance in the nation's speedy shipbuilding development.
Florence (pictured) and Cape Plass were built by two Vinashin subsidiaries, the Ha Long Shipyard and the Nam Triu Shipping Industry Corporation respectively and measure 190m in length and 32.26m in width. [21/06/07]
