Wah Kwong chief Huxley resigns after eight years on the job
Longtime Wah Kwong ceo Tim Huxley has resigned, the company said in a press release.

Wah Kwong Maritime Transport announced that Huxley had tendered his resignation as ceo with effect from 2 June 2016 and the parting was on amicable terms.

Wah Kwong chairman Sabrina Chao, expressed her gratitude to Huxley for his dedication and support during his tenure at the company, saying “it has been an incredible eight years working with Tim”.

"The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its appreciation to Mr. Huxley for his contributions and services to the company in the past and sincerely wish him all the best in his future endeavours," Wah Kwong said.

The ceo position will remain vacant until a suitable candidate is appointed. Huxley’s work has been properly handed over and is shared amongst the chairman, the operations department and the commercial department.

It is unclear what Huxley's future plans are. However he remains a director of ship management and investment company Mandarin Shipping.
