Westports gets 30-year concession extension to 2054
Port Klang's largest terminal operator Westports has been granted approval to extend its concession at Malaysia's biggest container port by a further 30 years.

Westports received notice from the Port Klang Authority that its concession would be extended from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2054, providing further assurance of continuity for lines calling at the port. One of the main conditions for extension was the completion of land reclamation works for new container terminals CT6 to CT9 by June 30, which has been achieved.
