The Med Shuttle/225 service operated by Maersk Line and Safmarine will be terminated in the fourth quarter of this year.
In its place the SAECS consortium comprising DAL, Maersk, Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), and Safmarine will add north and southbound calls to its service between North Europe and South Africa.
The eight vessels on the SAECS service are being upgraded between January and March next year.
