Jiangsu University of Science and Technology Waigaoqiao Hexagon Software Application Research Institute will develop a research and sharing platform for marine engineering and cruise shipbuilding sectors.
“We are expecting to realize tripartite wins via the cooperation and promote the digital transformation of national shipbuilding and marine engineering industry,” said Chen Gang, general manager of SWS.
The cooperation will bring more marine engineering industry players to participate in talent training and establish an efficient connection between classroom teaching and practice, said Zhou Nanping, president of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.
Hexagon PPM, a data assets solution provider, will offer services and solutions for industry players and the university to promote industrial digitalization, especially for the large-scale shipbuilding projects from SWS.
