Four box carriers to launch new Far East-Middle East service
The container carriers of Pacific International Lines (PIL), Coscon, Wan Hai Lines and Yang Ming Marine Transport will start a new Far East-Middle East trade from 5 April.

The new service, named CM2, will see a total of six vessels of 5,500 teu each be deployed.

The weekly CM2 service covers the following port rotation in 42 days: Busan, Qingdao, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Shekou, Singapore, Jebel Ali, Penang, Singapore, Kaohsiung and back to Busan.

“CM2 aims to complement our current China Middle East Service or CMS with enhanced port coverage, increased frequency and improved transit time for our customers,” PIL said.
