Maritime world mourns Steve Parks

Steve started his career in the maritime media world 22 years ago and before founding Wake Media six years ago had worked as sales & development director for Riviera Maritime Media, senior media consultant at JLA, and group sales manager for Marine Propulsion magazine.

Seatrade Maritime director Grant Elrick commented: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with Steve in his capacity as founder and md of Wake Media. His passion, devotion and enthusiasm for the maritime industry and the clients he represented came through in every conversation.

“Steve was always a great sounding board for sharing new ideas, promoting innovation within media and ‘challenging the norm’. We are deeply saddened by the news and a great loss to all his friends within the maritime industry.”
